To encourage youth involvement in clinics, volunteering and other aspects of the discipline of dressage and to develop character building in all aspects of their lives, Equestrian Factory Outlet is sponsoring the annual TC Youth Bursary Award in the amount of $250.

The award also includes a perpetual trophy passed from winner to winner each year; a $200 gift certificate also from Equestrian Factory Outlet; and a job-shadow day with a Toronto CADORA or Caledon Dressage coach to learn the tricks of the trade!

This award is to be given to one outstanding youth member per year who demonstrates dedication and commitment to her/his development in the sport.

The qualifying time period to complete all the criteria is January 1st - November 1st of each year. The young rider must be between the age of 14 and 21 years and have completed the five criteria.

This year's bursary will be awarded at the annual Toronto CADORA Hall of Fame Inductee Dinner held on November 20, 2010 at Premier Banquet Hall in Richmond Hill, ON.
