Emma Hindle has just given my family and I a wonderful reminder of what dressage should be about!
Elegance, harmony, rhythm, suppleness, an athletic and happy horse, and a rider who can ride.
How very rare that is. Sad, but hardly surprising, considering the utterly baffling reaction of the judges. 70% is a ridiculously low score.
Hindle's was among the best presentations of dressage today and she was certainly not rewarded accordingly.
On a side note, how can van Grunsven score almost 75% for such an error-ridden performance?
