Didn't one of her horses take off on her at one of the competitions during the parade. I thought I heard something. She apparently could not stop the horse and another rider had to run along side her and rein her horse in. I think it was at the Greek Olympics 2004. Can someone clarify that? Did you know that Sjef has no formal dressage training. He started riding in his 20s. I don't think he was ever a dressage rider. I think he started as a hunter:

The best outcome of this would be if she were to tuck her tail and run to reining (sorry, reining). I think she and Sjef are beginning to realize that their shenanigans are coming to an end, even without the hardline from the FEI (too bad FEI feels justified in being "diplomatic" to the end....). I hope the dressage community continues to ostracize them so that they have to make an excuse why they have to withdraw from inernational qualifiers and competitions (dressage, anyway), and go hide in another discipline. I just hope that if they continue to use this abusive method that the reining people will shun them, as well (or maybe the Quarter Horses won't put up with it and they will REALLY end up on the ground more than on top of the horses....hehehe

Is she going to WEG? I don't think she is riding. Maybe as a spectator. I am going to work at WEG if I hear anything I will let you guys know.

Sometimes the best offence is to retreat. I don't think Anky would have been able to come out in a good light.

Check out Astrid's article on the lawsuit retraction. It clarifies a lot.

As a translator myself, the last translation you want to use for accurate translation is Google. The problem with using this service is that it translates the word but not the semantics of the sentence. So the whole meaning comes of "kilter".

Hi Mary-Joe,
My guess is that it was translated from the original Dutch through Google translator. I found the same version as below and have been searching for a better translation. If I can find something more accurate, I'll post it here. :)

Sorry, but this article does not make any sense.
