What do you guys prefer: Hunter or jumper and why? or do u like them just the same??

Comment by Courtney P. on April 29, 2013 at 5:53pm: I love doing the hunter derbies! They're kind of like a combination of the two with the handy hunter round! I don't have the horse for jumpers so it's about as close as i get!

Comment by Stephanie on June 10, 2010 at 4:07pm: Heeey guys thanks 4 joining my group by the way! I enjoy doing both hunter/jumper. Though my pony is much better at jumper in a way. But i did not do much hunter shows during the winter, more jumper and he has improved so he may do really well 4 this summer in hunter hopefully! I worked really hard on him during the winter. I had 2 stop riding him and any horse or any sport 4 six weeks because i broke my collar bone riding. But im hoping to ride soon, and hoping that Cabreo is still as good!

Your pony sounds awesome and i know that feeling when u have to give up your pony because that u r getting to big for he/she. thats wut is happening for cabreo and i but also because i need a more advanced horse which is elite. Hes still green but he will b good 4 me to work on and train! I love to go fast and jump high too! Thats why i love doing jumper, but i love doing hunter to!

Comment by Brooke on May 28, 2010 at 7:45am: I have a pony, named Calvin! We luv to jump! He is 13 1/4 hands ao we have been doing 2'6 green pony hunter! I luv hunters but, i want to do jumpers when i get my next horse! I am getting to big for my pony that i currently have :( I will be moving up to a horse and doing jumpers! I luv jumpers because the courses are more challenging and fun! I luv going fast and jumping high so, i think jumpers will be perfect for me!!! I will be sad because i have to sell my ponmy but, i will be happy because i can jump higher and keep moving along!
