What made Fantasy special? She was just a bay an ex racehorse with no marking bought from auction to be a school horse. None of the students liked her (they all said she was insane and dangerous) and she didn't like them, but when I met Fantasy... everything changed. She affected me like no other horse had. I fell completely in love with her. Unfortunately no one believed I was capable of riding her. Slowly I began to build a bond with her. She stopped taking off with me and trying to buck me off. She loved it when I groomed her. She came up to me in the pasture just to be petted. She listened to me. She loved me. I had never been affected like that by any horse, and she had never been affected like that by any other rider. People started to notice. I started collecting money to lease and eventually buy her. I was giving up my dream of competing in Olympic show jumping for her because she couldn't jump over 2 Ft. My dream turned into owning her. But one day everything came crashing down. Fantasy was gone. The barn had sent her to auction because they said she was dangerous. And everything was gone... my hopes, my dreams, my best friend... were all taken away from me. I didn't even get to say goodbye to her. I couldn't believe it had just happened like that. So what made Fantasy special? Everything from the way she always stuck out her tongue when she was being ridden to the way she was my best friend. I love her... more then words can say, and some day I'll find her.
