Oh, memories! When I was a teenager we got a Redbone/Walker hunting puppy. She, Pat, lived in the house. When she got older and had to be left outside part of the time, she would howl and people a mile away could hear her bays. My dad could not get her to stop and we lived in town so he ended up giving her to some people that lived in the country. She was such a need dog. When we'd take her to the lake on week-ends she'd jump out of the car and straight for the water. She loved to swim! She'd come out to pee and back in she'd go. Her favorite thing was to catch a ball in the water while she was swimming or if we'd splash the water, she'd jump up and try to catch it. Thanks for some good memories.
