Yes, she was. She had so much promise. She stood 30 inches at the shoulder and was 36 inches long minus her tail. In the picture she was just 17 months old. The last evening before she passed away, she and I laid down on the grass together and cuddled each other, it was a very intimate time and I sensed a release on her part to submit, that she finally accepted me as her leader. She is buried behind the riding arena where she would sit and watch riding lessons while I taught. I still miss her terribly. I have another dog whom I was there for when he was born and LB was supposed to be his friend and partner. He went into mourning as well and we both go to visit her grave everyday.

Sorry for your loss. As I first looked at this picture before I read the caption, I said to myself, "What a great dog"
