Thankyou so much :) this horse is my entire life and I would never do something that hurts her. Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely use half halts when I feel her leaning on the bit :)

Geesh. It's not very nice to post negative comments on someone's photo that they posted here. Why be so mean?

The horse has a soft, relaxed eye, and the rider has a soft, low hand. Also, the horse seems to be taking the contact, which suggests that she trusts her rider.

The horse's mouth seems to be open a little bit, but that could be because at the very moment the photo was snapped, the rider was using the reins, or the horse was leaning a little bit and did what MANY horses do momentarily, by opening her mouth. A little squeeze of the calves and possibly a half-halt at the same time as you gently vibrate or lightly squeeze the reins followed immediately by giving will fix that.

The horse is shiny, she has a good weight and I'll bet she is very well cared for and loved. :)
