This was not a very good month for me. The heat was disgusting, I didn't get out to the barn many times, which I suppose Cooper liked since he didn't have to do any work. The girl who is putting some training on him was away for a few weeks too, so double bonus for him LOL
Cooper & I did go into our first ever fun show together end of August!
Cooper and his trainer got a 1st in English Green Horse, Yay!!
With his trainer again he got 3rd place in Western Green Horse and then I went on him and got 3rd place in Western Green Rider!!
I probably should have practiced on a more experienced horse, but I had loads of fun being able to ride my Cooper!!
I have started back to natural training and will be trying the rope hackamore as he really does not like that metal bit in his mouth. He goes much better in the rope halter, more relaxed.
