I was so unfortunate to get my sternum broken (breastbone) a few months ago so I have to ride with a safty vest (even in dressage) and my horse is ridden on a pelham because, well my chest still hurts and I need to have contol over that beast I call a horse ;) She can get very strong and I just can't ride her well in a snaffle just yet.
