When I am shooting photos I just go with the mood and see what that creates.  The joy of digital being take loads and toss lots in the trash haha!  This is a really nice horse and I was honoured to photograph him.

:) yet another wonderful photo. A lot of people try to take photos of horse eyes in a dramatic manner, but I think you've nailed this one. The contrast and highlights/shadowing are perfect. Well done!
