This is Eastern Ruler and I on a publicity photo shoot at home. What an interesting position! Rearing was a daily occurrence, a little power struggle which, once won, did not occur again that day. ER was like a giant pony, far to intelligent and cheeky!

Yes indeed...every day! ER was 17.2 and very well balanced horse. I did not like it, but I learned soon that he would never flip. I can't sit a buck to save my life and moments after that photo I got dumped royally from the big, bouncy warmblood buck to land on my feet and continue the shoot.

I am just now writing my memoirs in which Eastern Ruler is a huge feature...long story.

I am very sorry to hear about your lingering injuries. No; rearing is NOT fun. Are you riding at all, Lyneen?

Wow!!! did that really happen? I had a horse 9 years rear & flipped over on me & still suffering now with headaches, dizzness etc. Very impressive.!!!
