My very handsome bad boy, Trakehner gelding out of my Trak/Han mare. He is a joy to ride. He is always busy doing something which can get him into trouble. Very intelligent, very loving. Big mover.

Aww, thanks so much Nancy! I know how you feel. Thank goodness horses have the good people to help make up for the bad people! What they have done for us can never be repaid and yet, they get brutal treatment from so many. Makes me cry too! Our wild horses here in America are being hunted down and killed like wild pigs! Just horrible! I am doing everything I can to bring awareness and a voice to this issue but it's hard going up against government when they have their minds set on something! Are you in Scotland? Or are you here? Love to hear from other parts of the world! :-) Thanks for writing!

I love your horse. We had a horse here just like him. Tobias was 18 hands and such a gentle creature . His owners were horrible folk and said Tobias was going to the meat man..He had a bad injury and his owners just left him to rot. I am crying as I type this because I would have given all I had to have him.
They where told to leave the stables because they were so nasty. They took tobias away and I never saw him again.
He was the 1st horse I ever bonded with. It breaks my heart not knowing what happened to him.
He was a great horse and gave me hrs of pleasure, when his owners where not around.
I had a dream I was lying in a stble next to him and was cuddling him.. If there is an after life he'll be waiting for me. I begged them to let me keep him but no joy.
The one consolation I do have is he'll never go to the meat market. Horses that have been on bute are not wanted. I had the vet look at him when the owners where away and he prescribed Bute. The girl who had him on loan gave him it .The owners where furious but it was too late.
Anyone who thinks they can master a horse through being tough and punching a hosrse should be jailed! Tobias was terrified of them. I can't say anymore my tears are for all horses with bad owners.
Tobias was so gentle and loving.

Isn't that funny how a pic can convey the personality? He does have an awesome personality! Yep, even though he is only 1/4 Han, it definitley came through. Both the dam and the stud have some outstanding bloodlines. I miss his dam. I shouldn't have sold her but she went to a great home, they keep me posted on her. This guy, Mai Tai, is am imp! Let me tell you! He is trouble on wheels but the most intelligent and loving horse I have ever had! And what a clown! If he had apposable thumbs, we'd all be in trouble! :-D I have bred and sold horses before, have always loved them but was willing and prepared to sell them but something about Mai Tai, the moment he hit the ground, he bonded with me and vise versa. I really should sell him to a competition home but so far, I can't let him go.

Looks like this guy has a really nice temperament. His dam obviously gave him quite a lot of Hannoverian.
