Seems natural to me to call things "Bay Dun" or "Black Dun" beacause I have a very clear understanding of color genetics. But I do like the romantic names like "Palomino" and "Grullo"

Did you know "GRULLA" is the spanish word for the Blue Heron, pretty good description of the color huh?

Brand new I took It yeasterday ( I know shes dirty ) I'll groom the babies up and take new ones tomorrow today I'm taking their daddy out for a schooling /photo session.

I'll post the pics later this morning.

I'm glad you learned something, LOL yes Grulla or Grullo is actually the Black form of DUN, much like
RED DUN is the CHESTNUT form. ( always wondered why they call it REDDUN and BLACKDUN Grulla.

The normal or CLASSIC DUN is actually Dun Factor on a BAY basecoat.

You have intorduced me to another new term, Black Dun. I'm familiar with Grulla.
This babes ears are so cute the blond on the black. Seems pretty unique.
Did I tell you Cashs' daddy is a milkie colored buckskin? Very handsome fellow.
It's so neat to see them change colors as they mature.
How old is LOBA now? Is this a current pic?
