I 'want' some longer barrel reins. Maybe I should just experiment with what I have. A couple pair are too short....some are too long and then I have three pair of leather that just don't feel good to me.

You seem to be getting things where you want them with Cooper. I am sure the loosening of reins is just around the corner.

He's getting very good, me, I still have to learn to let those reins loose!

Seems like a good neck and head position for good relaxation.
