This is Joe and Che, I had a heck of a lot of talking to do to get my husband to agree to buying a horse again, now we have had him (for three years) Joe wouldn't be without him.  He made friends with Che the first day we bought him, fed him for 8 months out of a bucket by hand, and now they are best mates... or in Che's mind Joe is his Dad and if we say where is your dad, he will look for Joe, if Joe goes where Che can't see him, and starts talking he will call and call for him... if Joe leaves the barn then Che will stop what he is doing and wait for him to come back, unless we put the ropes up across the door, which is his signal that we are leaving the farm.
