Amon is "one-of a-kind" because he sleeps very deeply at any time of day...and have dreams... that makes him move his legs/neck/nostrils like he is trotting or something. Basically just like a dog. On that photo he has his back legs so well in-line that I took that shot. One day I sat right beside him without making noise, I watched him sound asleep and "moving a bit in one of his dreams" for about 10 min (it was so funny) ...then he suddenly opened his eyes for 1 second...saw me over his head...closed his eyes again...then opened them again looking all freaked out that I was actually right there (it took about 2 seconds to get the infos to his brain- ha ha) he just acknowledge me and lift his head up. He was obviously trusting me. I have never seen a horse sleeping like that. His mum was the same and blood sample has been made...it was all good, so I am not too worried. He does that mostly in summer time in perfect temperature and low bug action. Do you have a horse that sleeps and dreams like him?
