Yes, I think that is exactly what it is, control the hiney, control the horse. If you ask for a turn and the horse just keeps going the other way then you do a hind end yield and then you will be facing the way you want to go.

I watched your videos, they are great! You look so comfortable in the saddle and Cash looks happy, wonderful to get back at it.

You'll have to explain this phrase to me. Never heard of 'steer by the tail'. If you control the hiney, you control the horse? Guessing here.
Did you find the rest of my short videos? I think I posted 5 or 6 on Connect and linked to FB but still haven't looked on FB to see if they are actually there.Try to write more tomorrow, to late here now.
