It's not hard in the way that if you already know how to jump, you know what to expect BUT it's just different. You can't get as forward off your horse's back as you can in a two point position so it's bit weird still having some contact with the seat when your in the air but it's good in a way that if you get left behind or your horse has a big jump like mine does, the pommels help to keep you in place instead of being popped out of the tack like you would in a normal saddle.
