Cathy & I put up the PotatoPen in about two hours once we agreed just where to put it.
Finally, because it would be so easy to move we decided on one of three possible locations.
Then again we may just put up another one so we can two PotatoPens.
I used a special grade of ground granite so it is really easy to rake and so far I have not had to use the tractor but I know that will be very easy. I have been getting a lot of compliments about how great it looks.
It is easy to clean and I really like the ease to enter at any place without having to go through the gate, when the power is off that is! I had a young foal in there with his dam for a while because I had to change wraps on leg wounds daily. At first he was hard to corner, then after he touched the fence he just let me approach from any side. Then I brought in another colt who was really wild. He hit that fence like it was not even there and scrambled through it. I was horrified then after examination I found that he had no injuries or even scratches and somehow the power was not even on at the time. Back in he went and I then let him touch it. That was the end of his resistance. Now he is real easy to handle and does not even test the system at all. I tell you there have been a few times that if I had any other kind of fencing it would have been a disaster. Thanks for the system it is safe, easy to change locations and I get many comments about how great it looks. It is amazing how many people around here have installed your fencing and every one of them love it! One very important thing I learned is not to try and improvise with other brand insulators and such. In the long run I would have saved a lot of time and hassle just using your total product line. Thanks again for the product.
