I've been riding for as long as I can remember. I enjoy driving also. My first love was eventing ,then I moved to dressage as my life got taken over by Family responsibilities. And recently I have become interested in endurance and competitve trail. I've been breeding sport ponies for ten years and am inthe process of getting the babies broken out.

Hello Everyone, Are we going to get the snow they have been promising us. I needto go out for a ride . The arena on 3ponies a day is making me crazy.

If anyone is interested I have a few ponies for sale. Lilly is 14hh 8 years old rides and is being broke out to drive . She has been hitched once and did not put a foot wrong. She is chestnut and very athletic. She also likes to jump and is quite good at it . Would make a nice hunter pony or driving pony. She has half welsh papers and has premium status American sport pony papers. She has had one foal and is a terrific brood mare. The foal is turning 4 this year and is green broke. Curly is an absolute dream to ride and is a real character. I can't forget Bubbles who is 5 this year and also green broke She is a half sibling to Curly, they have the same father, Benno's Hit. She is stunning and won her inspection as a yearling for the American Sport Pony association. She is black with one blue and 14hh. I can't keep them all nor can I keep riding them all. It's going to kill me

I guess that is why we haven't met up. We didn't do the Summer Solstice ride at Dufferin Forest this summer. Wasn't happy about being forced to camp out overnight when we live an hour away and that would have meant paying for someone to do chores with the show horses & ponies.
We have limited budget for away rides and prefer to spend our money on quality - US rides, multi-day rides, etc.
Have you made it out to any distance rides yet? I'm generally found at the ones in Western Ontario - now currently campaigning a leopard Appy but have campaigned a pony sized Arabian.

We've spent most of our time riding in Ohio with the OAATS group and really enjoying it - Sciotto and Cuyahoga rides are amazing.
In Michigan we love the White River rides and the challenge of the Shore to Shore (going back to finish off the final 3 days this year).
In Tennessee try the Big South Fork Ride and for Pennsylvania try the Genesee ride, in Wisconsin we've done the ride at Palmyra.
All are organized rides under AERC or the local CTR organizations. Funny that as close to NY state as we are we haven't yet done a ride there.
