sunday we went to our second dressage competition - came 1st in class and 1st overall. our score 78.9%!

- My name is Bo (Wing Bo Chan).
am i.. just a girl, i love riding, i'm a rider, riding instructor, trustee, and web developer for EpsomRDA (Riding for Disabled Association)
i love riding and have been doing so since i was 5 years of age with RDA. Up until 2005, one of my instructors introduced me to the world of Dressage. Since reading and watching more about Dressage, its really excited me to want to learn to ride in such harmony between horse and rider. i'm now competing regional and national level and i want to ultimately aim as high as i can because the impression i have from riding is that its forever learning, learning not just how to ride but to also build a great partnership.
my dream is to be an inspiration to others one day and that disability is not a big hurdle. so now most of the competitions i now compete in are 'able bodied' competitions.
I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to ride a most handsome thoroughbred in lingfield taught by Sam Holland.
An just before Christmas, a lovely kind hearted pair, Denny Chandler and Mandy Holloway have given me one of their beautiful horses to fulfill this dream of competing at a higher level but have made sure i do love the horse Sam (which i do) and that we enjoy each other.
Sam (horse) and i are now learning alot about each other and we both love our hacks! hehee We'll start with w+t tests first and together slowly build up understanding, confidence and partnership so that we'd be ready for the next step!
Sam is currently borrowing a Micklem bridle and absolutely loves it! i'm hoping to get Sam his own one as soon as i save up enough money. (Doesnt help i'm a student at the moment! haha)
i've joined this site because the blog is very interesting read and i've such a long journey ahead that this would be a place to be inspired also!
Who knows .. we might even be in London2012! We're going to give it a go, i can only try! if not, we still have plenty of time for the next paralympics! hehee
