I ride at Lindgren Riding Acadmy and wish I had a horse. I am very talented and love riding. Right now i ride a horse called Deleah. She is an arab and is 17 years old i belive. I do the hunters at shows and one day would like to try out the jumpers. I have been riding for about 3 and half years. My favorite breed is a Welsh. I use to ride a Welsh at Cattail creek farms but then i went to a different stable. I first started showing in 2008. I did 1 show with China and 3 shows with a POA pony i belive. Spice (poa) was a very mean pony. He bucked me off 3 times. Once at a show. He was a evil evil little pony. And he was only about 11.2hh, but he could still do lots and he was very powerful. I have jumped 2'6 with spice and once with Deleah (with a different instructor). Spice barely made it over.
Hey! I own the stable on Valley rd., just down the hill rom Karen. I love your pictures, too. I am currently training my own horse to do jumper. We will be starting up again in the spring at 3 feet. I am planing to do a couple of shows this year, but only small one's because my girls still kinda green and skitty. I don't, maybe we'll bump into each other one day!
Anyway, your question. I put two very tiny holes in her browband with a leather punch. Then I toke a long 'U' shaped nail and put it through the holes. I then stuck the cone on the 'U' shaped nail that was sticking out of the browband. ( she didn't like it very much, and quickly figured out how to shake her head and fling it off!!)
I mean we are moving to Mission Creek Ranch, all seven horses. We will still be beside the riding club but one farm over. call me for more details I will be home tonight about 6:30 ish.
