My involvement with horses began as a child growing up on my grandfather's boarding stable near Vancouver, Canada. My family later moved to Texas and then to the Okanagan, where I spent my high school years competing in youth rodeo and working at our cattle ranch near Vernon, BC.
Over the years I have enjoyed countless hours in the saddle - trail riding, playing polo, team roping, conditioning endurance horses, and working cattle on horseback. I am a proponent of natural training methods and natural horse care.
Although I have a professional career, I stay "grounded" by training horses, starting colts, and providing natural hoof care services as an AANHCP certified practitioner and EasyCare hoof boot dealer and fitter. I own Lone Pine Ranch, and feel very privileged to be the steward of such a beautiful place and natural haven for horses.
