- I have loved horses all my life, showed quarter horses and Apps when I was young..lost my beloved QH in an accident when I was 14, would not ride again ..I helped get my neice a horse 8 yrs. ago and she joined the army and took off, I was given the horse, and have raised him, he is Poco Bueno Cee and he has healed my heart and my life. He is a QH, out of the same bloodlines as my horse I lost. If we just walk around the pasture together the rest of our lives i will be fine with that. I paint and work at trying to get by along with taking care of rescue dogs and cats. "Cee" and the other animals here are my family.

Hi Leesa, I am glad you will get back into riding, but may I make a suggestion? If you can please try to get some lessons, including a review on saddling! You NEED to get your seat somewhat secure before you climb on your horse! Green broke horses are trying to figure out what their riders want, and the more secure your seat the less you will confuse him. And be sure to wear a helmet!!!!
