- A Bit About Me and my Horse(s)
- I have always loved animals and my dream was to own my own horse. At 46 I attended an auction at OLEX in St. Jacob's and purchased my mare, a TB, from the kill buyer. She was to be slaughtered the next day.
Jasmine and I have had a bumpy beginning but I do not regret for one minute rescuing my horse. I rescue bunnies and work with rescues providing foster care for these wonderful animals. It only made sense to rescue my horse too. Ellie Ross from Horseman Against Horse Slaughter was the one that helped me purchase her. Thanks Ellie.
