First horse purchased the day after high school graduation, way back in 1973. Two years later, I put my money down on a 3 month old Quarter Horse filly. Twelve years later, she had our first colt, a Palomino QH, followed by a sorrel QH colt two years later. My Palomino, Bid Adieu is the sole survivor at 25 years of age. I lost my beloved, Tres Dee Sol last week (2/7/12) while their mother passed back in 2000. All have lived a comfortable life on our 5+ acres and we have selfishly kept them home with us....preventing them from winning the many accolades that I'm sure they would have attained partnered with a more talented owner. However, they could not have been loved any more.
