- I've been riding for 17 years. My current horse, Lance, is my first horse. Lance is a 17.2 chestnut Hanoverian in his early 20s. We've been partners for 11 years now and have retired from the jumper and eq rings. Currently we are just doing flat work and lots of trail riding since a tendon injury in 2010
