Hi Elizabeth, Welcome to Barnmice! Your horses, dogs and cat sound beautiful.
Sending good vibes that Duke finds his way home soon. I think Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes are beautiful dogs.

A Bit About Me and my Horse(s)
We live on a small permaculture farm on Windward Oahu. THe horse poop feeds the composting worms and the worm poop feeds the vegetables. Horses are Baby - 20+ Andalusian-cross, Left brain extrovert; Dolcezza, 15 yo, small Arab mare, Right brain extrovert; and new, pregnant Arab mare, Selket Sygnet, 6 yo, 15-3. I have all my horses barefoot and booted as necessary. I learned to do the trimming myself because my horses' feet degenerated in metal shoes and I was able bring them back to soundness and comfort with barefoot trimming. I like everyday dressage combined with Parelli natural horsemanship and practiced with every interaction with the horses. I just discovered Karen Rohlf and think that her style pretty much fits with the kind of riding and level of harmony I want to achieve.

Do you have any pets?
Two Husky/Shepherds (Bruddah and Hunkydory), a Malamute (Man) and my late father's cat (Sasha) which I brought back from Australia, plus another Malamute, Duke, (the profile pic) who is missing at the moment but we will never give up on him.
