HI Erin
Sorry I haven't written sooner but I missed your message. There is a protocol procedure listed on the EC website I believe and I know there is a description in the general regs and hunter jumper rule books. Basically you need to have some experience working at local shows, you make an application through EC to become a Junior Course Designer (small r). This must be in sometime in Sept or Oct. An exam is then sent to you which must be returned by the end of October. You must also take an EC certification Course Design Clinic. This then enables you to work at Bronze and Silver shows. ie Trillium level shows. It is also important to work with a Recognized Senior Course Designer whenever possible. Also a good start is to volunteer to be on the Ring Crew at local shows. Good luck. Hope to see you out there. Evie
