- Never had the opportunity to be around horses until after retirement. Then I volunteered at a Therapeutic Riding Center full time for 10 years. Purchased my first horse at age 65 and now I own a Tennessee Walker. Volunteered for 14 days at the World Equestrain Games, Lexington, KY
