A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): I am 24 years old with two horses and a mini donkey. I have been taking lessons off an on for years but have never really progressed as I would like nor really enjoyed what I was doing. I have always admires eventers and finally found an event instructor in my area. People around here mostly ride western so it's hard to find English instructors, even now I have to drive well over an hour. I am loving my new found niche!
Trooper is a 5 year old "Louisiana gumbo saddle horse" aka grade gaited horse. He is green but a saint already. He is 15.2 hh and black buckskin. He is my competitive trail horse and my "baby sitter" for inexperienced friends and family.
Kate is a 5 year old OTTB. She has had a lot of health issues and lost tons of weight. She has been cleared of all her ailments and is gaining weight nicely now. Kate is 15.3hh and Chestnut with Sabino characteristics. She is my future event horse as well as trail horse.
Stella is a yearling mini donkey. She is head of the head and mischief maker. She is the center of attention and trooper adores her. Kate not so much. I guess its a mare thing. When Stella is older she will be thought to jump small fences in hand and pull a small cart.
