Having a physical restriction that has me 'outa the saddle', I'm wondering, could 'sidesaddle' be the answer?
Being 'on the ground' has helped me learn equine language in a more meaningful way. I'm grateful, but I aspire to ' get back in the saddle' and be as one, ' with ' the horse,

Hi Heather, welcome to Barnmice!  We have a Sidesaddle Riders group, also a handicapped and disabled group.  I have Multiple Sclerosis, disabled, but still riding.  I could not do sidesaddle because my balance is BAD, but I thought about it!
