Has it really been that long that we have not been in touch? What happened? I can honestly say that the ball was dropped on my end when my old cell phone was broken and the numbers couldn't be retrieved. I lost contact with a lot of people that way. : ( But to answer Maddy's question; unfortunately I lost Boone January 11 2008 to colic. We did everything we could but he was too far gone by the time we got him to Lexington. He had been down for a while when I found him that morning when I went to feed. Needless to say I was heartbroken. Boone was my pride and joy and it was like losing a child. In fact I quit riding for a about a year. I just fed the rest of my horses and made sure they were happy and healthy. I was paranoid and very very depressed. But life goes on and every day gets a little brighter especially with Rowdy, my 4 year old colt, he's going to be an awesome horse one day.
