A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): My siblings and I grew up on a small dairy farm; rode our back yard ponies mostly as pets; occassional shows. Now these many years with grandchildren, etc., just bought a 9 year old Lusitano and am finally taking "real" riding lessons for a change!! At my age !! Guess you CAN teach an old dog new tricks !! It's wonderful to love horses. They teach us so much. May my horse love me as much as I love him ! I thank the Lord for so much advice and help I can find on the internet from people who care and are so much more experienced than I... i.e., barnmice, etc. It definitely helps one with confidence building and direction in supporting these wonderful creatures to develop and stay well. As Martha would say: it's a good thing !!
