A Bit About Me and my Horse(s)

When I was little, my mom used to put my brother and I ontop of her old Morgan horse as she cleaned the stalls. I eventually was signed up for riding lessons at 5.

Although we had always had horses since I was born, my mom became very interested in breeding welsh ponies in 1992. To this day, we still breed and show Section B Welsh ponies online and under saddle. I have done a little amount of driving, but will be learning more and hopefully showing under harness this year.

I love buckskins and duns, and finally was able to own one in 2008. I recently purchased a warmblood half welsh cross named Ike to start doing low level eventing with.

I was a member of The Canadian Pony Club growing up, in three different branches: Blue Water (WOR), Green Lane (COR) and Kawartha Lakes (COR). In 2006, I was part of the Trent Equestrian team at Trent University.
