"I would love to build up to Full time massage... but by the looks of the industry in my area, I'd have to move out of state (which I'm not opposed too!). I'm working retail at TSC (do you have those?) so I'm hoping to make a few…"

"I'm enjoying it very much when I do get the chance to massage! The economy has hit my area very hard due to the drought and exorbitant hay prices that the horse industry got hit with for the last 2 years :( How are things up Kitchener way?"

That's great! I'm sure you'll enjoy working as a vet tech in combo with your massage work. And yes, we have TSC stores here as well. I went to university and college after completing the D'AL course. I work full-time nights in a hospital laboratory at the moment and do the massage work afternoons and weekends. Keeps me pretty busy but I'm enjoying it. I'm sure you'll find a job in a large animal clinic - maybe even an equine clinic! At least you have the background for it!Delete Comment

Things are going pretty good for me here. I just moved to Kitchener a little over a year ago so I'm still building my business. But I'm limiting the massage to part-time so I don't have room for many more new clients in my schedule. I'm also focusing on teaching clinics and am still writing new material so that keeps me quite busy. Are you planning on building up to full-time massage or just massaging part-time?
