A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): I have been involved with horses for over 40 years. As a kid I was active in 4H and pony club, owned a Connemara and showed mostly in the hunter pony and equitation divisions. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire where I majored in Animal Science with a focus on Equine Studies. While at UNH, I was introduced to balanced seat riding and dove into the world of dressage and eventing. I became a certified riding instructor and bought the Thoroughbred mare that was my project horse at school. I went on to become an Equine Anesthetist at the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine (Cornell). My husband and I (and two kids) now live in Massachusetts where I teach many courses in behavior, training (canine clicker training), management and biomechanics at Becker College. I currently own three horses (Welsh T-bred X, Pinto, and young Lippett Morgan) and after 20+ years of raising kids, I can't wait to get back in the saddle full time!
