My husband and I live in the Peak District National Park with our horses, cats and dog. I enjoy dressage competitions and riding club shows and activities as well as hacking. My husband Bob is an equine dental technician and I make horsehair jewellery (www.horsehairjewellery.co.uk) as well as being a Kumon instructor running a maths and English after-school tuition centre. I am also secretary of our local Hope Valley Riding Club (www.hopevalleyridingclub.co.uk).
Yes i'm sure we will get lots of hope valley members joining! Thanks i really enjoyed the dressage last week, the whole team did really well! We will do even better next year im sure!
Hi Kath,
Caught your comment to Lauren when I was looking at new members. You rate a video by opening it on the member's page, then scroll down to the left and you should see a rating chart. That's how I 've been doing it. Let me know if that helps.
Hi Kath,
You must be a Night Owl! My kids are going school in East Sussex and they're usually the only U.K. people I hear from at 8 pm Toronto time! That's also one of my favourite dressage videos - just picture perfect. Also, thank you for the lovely words about Donnie - I certainly think he is a big cutie! So I've never heard of people living in a national park! Where is that? My kids are in the south, so that's the only area I'm familiar with.
Hi Kath,
I am based in Toronto and I hope you don't mind that I have requested you as a friend. I had never heard of horsehair jewellery! It is really beautiful and unique - and a really special gift/tribute. We don't have anything like that in Canada. Did you think of that yourself or is it something more traditional in the U.K? Is the country spiral pendant also horsehair? It is really elegant.
