My grandparents owned a farm, but I never had my own horse, just got to ride when I visited. I live in the land of the foreclosure and double digit unemployment called Las Vegas. I'm a work from home mom trying to make ends meet. Before the big meltdown I worked as a billing clerk in a local medical office. I now try to make ends meet by promoting Las Vegas Vacations, and children and family friendly activities in Las Vegas for Kids. Whenever possible I enjoy weekends on Lake Mead with extended family, hiking, movies at home, and cooking. I'm very frustrated like most locals with what appears to be a lack of focus on domestic issues by our government leaders. I often wonder why we spend so much money on war and banks and so little on education, jobs, and american family life. I hope my kids, and your kids, and all kids have a bright future ahead of them.
