I am the founder and Donor/Account Advisor of Brennan Equine Welfare Fund, which is a 501(c)(3) fund-raising organization. Grants from The Brennan Equine Welfare Fund are used to serve equine rescue shelters across the country which provide dignity to final years of aged, injured, abused, starved and slaughter-bound horses, as well a those used in medical experimentation. This fund supports registered, 501(c)(3) organizations that specialize in retirement and rehabilitation services and offer a peaceful and permanent sanctuary for these beautiful animals. Shelters which offer carefully scrutinized adoption or re-placement services are also supported.
I also serve as the one who does the soliciting and overseeing donations, budgeting, reviewing and approving/denying grants, maintaining the website, and general work associated with such a fund. I am a life-long horsewoman and at present have three horses of her own.I am currently working towards my "Diploma in Equine Studies" through The University of Guelph, Ontario (CAN).
