- Returning to riding after 38 years (!!!) I rescued an OTTB mare who is now my intrepid trail partner. Last year I rescued a sweet, beautiful gelding who has significant soundness issues. With improved care he is a happy and a popular trail horse. I'm thinking horses all the time, learning and growing.
