A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): I have had horses for over 44 years almost continuously. The almost means there have been a couple of gaps of a few years due to my MS. For the past 9 years I had only miniature horses, until last fall when I acquired a wonderful 22 yr old Connemara mare. She was a hunter jumper show horse for years and knows far more that I do, but she is kind and gentle and doesn't mind that I struggle with balance issues from the MS. My minis and I perform trick shows at nursing homes, hospitals, local events, etc. I use natural horsemanship and clicker training techniques and perform mist of my training at Liberty. I drive one of my minis in a Bitless bridle. Very interested in Agility for horses and will dive into that in the next year or so.
