- My childhood years were spent playing endless games of cowboy. Playing the Roy Rogers role was the ultimate prize of the game. Trigger was our hero, and now that I have my very own Trigger (Uphill Dusty Gold, 4th generation mare from Roy Rogers' Trigger Jr.), I get to be Roy Rogers every time I cowboy up. I might add that I never wanted to be a cowgirl, as who wanted to be Dale Evans and ride Buttermilk? How boring is that?
