A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): I started showing horses when I was 15. At that time I rode western, but secretly wanted to ride and show hunters, but no instructors here. My next horse was a saddlebred that I showed saddleseat. I also rode and showed some in a sidesaddle. After a couple of years, I moved on to a Quarter Horse and started taking lessons from a lady that moved here from Chicago. I took that horse to many hunter/jumper shows, evented a little, and went to a few fox hunts. After a nasty accident that fractured my leg (5 surgeries), I decided to drive ponies and have been ever since. I still ride astride and sidesaddle, but really love to drive. Just bought my first marathon cart and plan to do some driving derbies next summer. Together, my daughter, grandkids, and I own 9 horses and ponies.
