A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): I started riding at age 4, did Pony Club, 4-H and local shows. I couldn't afford to take my horses to college so from age 18 until 37 I didn't have a horse of my own. With my husband's encouragement 13 years ago I bought a 6 yo OTTTB, who is now retired. The herd has grown to 5 horses and a Dartmoor Pony. We have cleared land for pasture, built a barn, acquired a horse trailer, 2 sleighs and an Amish spring wagon. I do a lot of trail riding with friends, take lessons in dressage and jumping, and occasionally compete at horse trials. My ambition is to compete in the training 3 day event at GMHA. I may try to do Novice level this year. My main ride is Gabriel, a 9 yo Belgian/Tb cross that we bought when he was 10 months old. I have done all his training. He is amazing. I have been driving him since he was 4. I give lessons to beginners with him. I am starting to work at riding him bridle-less.
