A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): I have always been fascinated with horses, even from before I can remember. My mom would tell stories about me as a tiny kid always "going out to see the horses". It took me years of begging and scheming before finally getting my first horse. A cranky little POA gelding. He took me through a couple years, but then I got too big for him and found a Quarab mare to take me through the next steps. She was touchy and had a big attitude, but I learned to ride through anything she could throw at me until she got sick. Now I have an 8 year old Appendix Quarter horse mare, Bella, that I absolutely adore. She has been the best partner and friend I could ask for. I've had her since she was a halter broke three year old and have trained her with a little instruction from a friend, but it's just been the two of us for most of the time. I love Parelli Natural Horsemanship, it has helped both of us grow in ways I could not imagine. We mostly do trail riding at the moment, but I would eventually love to get into showing both Western and English disciplines.
