A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): Growing up on a farm in central Ontario I am familiar with barns and barnmice. In fact one of our often repeated family stories involves my attempt to capture one of those critters in a freshly mown hayfield. Let's just say both of us got more than we bargained for from the encounter.

While I do not have a horse now I did as a teenager and have continued to appreciate their beauty and strength. I think they might very well embody the perfect balance of these two characteristics.

I enjoy attending equestrian events particularly the Royal Winter Fair which became a family tradition after I moved to Toronto over 30 years ago. As I am sure most members were I was thrilled by Canada's recent performance at the Beijing Olympics. Breathtaking.

I look forward to being a part of Barnmice and learning more about horses and the people they share their lives with.
