I sometimes find it challenging to describe myself on paper as opposed to in person however I would say I am extremely well versed in the Equestrian World. My journey with horses started at the age of 5 and rolled onward and upward from then on. I have done it all from Pony Club as a young kid, to being a competitive 3Day Event Rider - Named to our BC Talent Squad as well as representing BC in Chicago as part of the Young Riders Team. From there I travelled to South Carolina as a working student and to further my competition records. In 2002 I took a position in Malibu, Cali as trainer and manager of one of the USA's top 3Day Event Riders barns as she travelled around the world qualifying for Rolex. Within that position I did everything from cleaning stalls, to representing all my students at their competitions. Over the years I have groomed for our very own Aldergrove Olympian Hawley Bennett all over the world. In 2004 I ventured to the Olympics in Athens as a groom on our Canadian Team. I was put in charge of flying with all the horses and caring for them throughout quarantine. In 2006 I moved to Ocala, FL to train with our Canadian Olympic coach David O'Connor on my young BC breed TB.
Throughout all of my fun experiences within the 3Day Eventing scene I was able to maintain a job for 5 years working for Dr. Kleider as a Surgical Nurse as well as Paton & Martin. Amongst all of that I was also an "on-call" for overnight emergency watch for Dr. Moats.
Aside from having worked with horses my entire life I am a very high achiever, goal and success driven and a work until the work is done kind girl!!
Hope to hear from you soon.
