A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): I'm Stefanie and my best friend is Uniek,my 7 year old Frissian mare. :)
She's mine for almost 2 years and we had a long journey up'till now. The previous owners bought her when she was pregnant from her second foal,they had her about a year and hadn't had any chance of working with her, sad enough they had to sell 10 of their 12 horses...
Uniek was never handled before (except for the breeding and that must haven't been so pleasant..) and often she was just left by herself in the pasture,she was a scared girl and even haltering her was a hell of a task..
We took it slow and went down the natural horsemanship way, she taught me so much and actually molded me into the patient and loving person I am today!
So we went from nothing to having the closest bond!
We love to do so much together, we ride without saddle and bitless (I like that close connection and it makes me a better rider aswell), do groundwork, freedom dressage (she can do the classical bow, bow on one knee, flehm, standing stretched and the beginning of the jambette), take long walks by each others side (also outside) and trail rides!! We also love goofing off and play in the pasture or do some free jumping when someone forgot to clean up their jumps..;)
Upcoming spring we're going to start training with a showteam,so exciting!
